The purpose of distance learning is to provide educational services through the use of modern information and communication technologies at educational levels in accordance with state standards. The task of distance learning is to provide citizens with the opportunity to exercise the constitutional right to obtain education and professional qualifications. Distance learning is possible anywhere, anytime and for anyone!
Flexibility: students, listeners, who receive distance education, mostly do not attend classroom classes, but study at a time convenient for them and at a place of their own choosing.
Modularity: the distance education program is based on the modular principle; each individual course creates a holistic view of a separate subject area, which allows a set of independent courses-modules to form a curriculum that meets individual or group needs.
Parallelism: training is carried out simultaneously with professional activity (or with training in another direction), that is, without breaking away from production or another type of activity.
Large audience: simultaneous use of many sources of educational information by a large number of students and listeners, communication by means of telecommunications between students and with teachers.
